Julie Clark Lingen - Speaker | Author | Coach

Julie Clark Lingen is a national award-winning author, speaker, life coach, entrepreneur and lover of life. You don’t have to be around her long to feel her warmth, love, laughter, kindness, and joy. Julie’s passion for life comes from learning she is living 50% at-risk for one of the world’s cruelest diseases—Huntington’s Disease—a rare, incurable degenerative brain disease that threatens to cut her life short. (Read her full story here.) Since then, she has become more determined than ever to live each day to the fullest and inspire others to do so as well with a reminder that none of us know what the future holds. Tomorrow isn't promised to anyone. Life is short for all of us so we need to get to living or life will pass us by. By openly sharing her personal story, she’s on a mission to help give others their Wake-Up Call early to inspire them to make changes to their lives now, before it’s too late, so they have fewer regrets on their deathbed. Julie's purpose is 'Regret Prevention.' What matters most isn't how long we live; it’s how fully we live while we're here. Multiple audiences have said she has a life-changing message we all need to hear, with a life-altering question we all need to ask ourselves: Are we living or letting life pass us by?

Julie’s national award-winning book: Inspirational Coffee Breaks for Women: 12 Ground Rules for Pouring Your Heart into Life, captured the hearts of readers across the country, becoming an Amazon.com bestseller and being named a finalist in the prestigious National Best Books Awards from USA Book News which honors the most outstanding books in the self-improvement genre. It also received the National Indie Excellence Award recognizing the "best of the best" in book publishing. It’s a dose of inspiration for the heart and soul.

Julie is the founder of The Inspirational Coffee Club, a community of support and encouragement overflowing with real life stories, wisdom and lessons learned from others for living life to the fullest and with less regret. She is also the woman behind the Girls Gone M.I.L.D. Beauty Full-Living initiative, passionately redefining beauty as we know it with an entirely new definition: True beauty isn’t about how a woman looks; it’s about how a woman lives. She loves empowering women to Live BeautiFULLY—with kindness, love, compassion, confidence, courage, strength, joy and authenticity to create a life that shines from inside out—with a reminder that a beautiful appearance fades, but a beautiful life never does.

Julie has been honored with the Young Women of Excellence Award from the Sales & Marketing Executives, Inc. of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, given to celebrate women who influence the lives of other women with their integrity and accomplishments. She was also named the recipient of the Horizon Award from Augustana University, recognizing alumni who have made outstanding achievements in career and service to their community.

Julie is a coffee-drinking, book-reading, Bed & Breakfast-loving, Hallmark-movie watching, dancing around the house kind of gal with a serious zest for life. She tries to spend as much time as she can heart-to-heart with others, making memories with those she loves most, including mother-daughter getaways, adventures with friends, and time with her husband, all which provide her many laugh-out-loud moments. She wears her heart on her sleeve, loves helping others, genuinely enjoys seeing others happy, and is constantly inspired by the stories, strength, and wisdom of others. She lives in Sioux Falls, South Dakota with her amazing husband, Brad, who brings her first cup of coffee to her every morning and who has shown her that there’s nothing more powerful, more precious or more healing in this world than genuine unconditional love. (Read their story here.) Julie’s life goals are to leave the world a little better place for others and to see a cure for Huntington’s Disease.
